What is ORF?
ORF is series of enchanting nights in Toronto celebrating independent culture. For 10-weeks during the summer, ORF presents hit independent cinema from Canada and across the globe including film festival award winners, critical successes, and exclusive engagements. Each film is paired with a curated mix of emerging live music artists, from Juno winners to Polaris Prize nominees as well as hidden gems. This recipe has solidified ORF’s reputation as Toronto’s ultimate summer date night and meeting spot.

Our long-standing sponsor, Amsterdam Brewery, offers attendees their best and newest collection of beer and a delicious selection of wine.
Each event is designed to please all of your senses with food presented by Toronto’s finest chefs and caterers. Each night includes tasty options to whet your appetite from tacos to sandwiches, arepas, burgers and more.
Looking for something else to soothe your taste buds? Whether it’s popcorn, snacks, pop or water, our concession stand has you covered. We also rent out cushions and blankets for those breezy and cool summer nights.
Where?
Open Roof Festival’s 2018 venue is located immediately west of Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada (MOCA) at 158 Sterling Road.

The box office opens at 7pm. Music starts about 8pm, the film screens about 9pm, and the entire event finishes about 11pm.
